Arushna has worked in the construction industry for the past 9 years from the year 2010, starting as a mechanical engineering graduate. She has worked on various mines across the African continent namely, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, and Namibia. Arushna has also given the role as a Site Superintendent on the Husab Uranium Project as well as a Site Manager on the Yaramoko Expansion project in Burkina Faso.

Some of the projects that Arushna worked on are :
Yaramoko Expansion Project (2018), Husab Uranium Project (2014-2017), Bulyanhulu Expansion project (2013-2014), Tonkolili Iron Ore Stage 1B Project (2012-2013) and Benga CHPP Project (2011).
