Danie worked as Project Manager on Heavy Lifting projects at the Oil & Gas Refinery KNPC, Kuwait for ALE Middle East as well as Al Zour Refinery Project in Kuwait (2017-2018). Prior to Kuwait he managed an EPC contract from pre-construction, contract negotiation, contractor selection and project management for the Excelsior windfarm project in Swellendam, Western Cape from (2016-2017) on behalf of Goldwind. He was a Consulting Engineer Client Representative & Construction Project Manager working on the completion and handover phase of the 27 floor Radisson Blue hotel, In Lomé, Togo, for Nuvo Consulting (2015-2016).

Over and above this, Danie has project managed multiple projects for BCS in Zambia, Zimbabwe, RSA and Namibia (2014-2015). Prior to BCS, Danie worked across multiple projects for Group Five in Ghana, Mozambique & Tanzania that included the construction of Gold Processing and Coal Washing Plants. Danie’s duties included steel erecting, mechanical installation and platework & piping erection. In this period, he worked in all sectors ranging from Health, Safety & Environmental, Tendering, Procurement, Logistics, Material Control, Site Supervision, Site Management and Project Management (2007-2013).

Earlier in his career (1998-2007), Danie worked on projects ranging from refurbishing and building residential, industrial and commercial properties. Danie has been in the construction industry for over 20 years and has worked on a variety of projects in multiple countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle east.
