PROJECT SERVICES ENGINEER
Before joining WEC, Gregory worked as a Project Procurement Engineer at Group Five for six years, working in the SMPP mining construction division. He was involved in procuring fabricated steelwork & platework, piping including valves & mechanical equipment, handrailing & grating, sheeting & cladding, etc. Gregory has dealt with large-scale fabricators and subcontractors with the likes of, A. Leita Steel Construction, Burger and Company, Tudor Engineering, Louwill, Engineering, Van Staden Engineering, Quality Tube Services, Mining Pressure Systems and the like.
He has also have worked on procurement for large plants such as the Kipp Kpone Power Plant in Ghana, the Husab Uranium Project in Namibia, the Bisie Tin Project in the DRC, the Bulyanhulu Gold Project in Tanzania, the Voltic Ghana Project (Akwadum) as well as the Yaramoko Gold Project in Burkina Faso (Phase 1 and 2).
Gregory’s key attributes are attention to detail, accurate and on time reporting and he has been involved in supply chain management aspects of a project from start to finish. He is also well experienced in people logistics, document control and policies & procedures. He also enjoy new challenges and always gets involved in all aspects of the various projects.
